        Our scout group had recently been given a large area of land which had been unmanaged for many years, it was overgrown and full of rubbish following works completed by network rail!

        We looked for a local business to help us transform the land into a safe activity area for the young people in our community.

        There was no certainty the project could even happen as we’re relying on grant funding to make the improvements we needed, however Tom and his team still dedicated a great amount of time meeting with us on site and putting a comprehensive plan together.

        When funding was successful Tom moved heaven and earth to get everything completed to the highest spec possible, and ensuring everything was completed in a time scale that allowed us to get maximum benefit out of the improvements.

        The TLR team dedicated weekends and extra time to involve all our young people in the project too, allowing them to get involved and leading tree and hedgerow planting as well as teaching the children many valuable skills.

        It’s clear Tom and the team really care about helping our community and aren’t just there to complete the job and go home! They regularly check on the land in their spare time and let themselves in to keep things looking tidy so our volunteers don’t have to worry about it.

        All of the work was completed to a high standard with the children’s safety in mind, we’ve had so many positive comments from the community and it’s given our young people some of the most amazing and enjoyable experiences ever!
